Camping – Fresno County Parks
Campsites are available at four Fresno County Parks: Choinumni Park, Los Gatos Creek Park,
Lost Lake Recreation Area and
Pine Flat Recreation Area. All phone
reservations must be made at least ten (10) days prior to use. Reservations are taken by
phone Monday through Friday at (559) 488-3004.
Camping - Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Parks
Campgrounds in Sequoia
and Kings Canyon National Parks are located in
oak woodlands in the warm, dry foothills and in the higher, cooler conifer forests. They range in
elevation from 2,100 to 7,500 feet. In general, higher elevation campgrounds are cooler and closer
to giant sequoias. Lodgepole and Dorst Campground in Sequoia National Park accept reservations up to
five months in advance or the period of mid-May to mid-October. All other campgrounds are first-come,

Camping - Sierra National Forest
Camping is one of the most popular recreation activities in the
Sierra National Forest. Situated in the
Central Sierra Nevada, the Forest has several campgrounds located in a variety of settings. The ideal
camping time in most Forest areas is May to October, prior to winter storm activity.

Camp Edison
- Shaver Lake
This unique campground is located in a pine forest on the western shores of
Shaver Lake, California.
The Shaver Lake area provides a wide range of outdoor recreation from hiking trails to water sports,

Kelly's Beach Resort
- Reedley
Located along the beautiful Kings River,
Kelly’s Beach where shade trees, green grass and a sandy shorelines create a family vacation paradise.

Millerton Lake State Recreation Area
With over 40 miles of shore land for water sports, this SRA offers visitors swimming, fishing, and boating.
The park’s camping facilities include boat camping. For campground reservations (800) 444-7275.
Pine Flat Recreation Area
Just 32 miles east of Fresno in the Sierra
and Sequoia National Forests.
The scenic and rugged Kings River
is the location of this beautiful park where fishing, boating, and waterskiing are all available.
There are three public campgrounds at Pine Flat Lake.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers maintains 97 campsites at Island Park Campground, which are reservable
year-round. All campgrounds are suitable for RV and tent camping. For reservations call the National

Riverland RV Resort

Wishon Village RV Resort
– Shaver Lake
Wishon Village is a beautiful high country RV Park, an easy 80 miles east of Fresno, in the heart of
the Sierra Nevada. The road is open from May 1 until the end of October. Wishon Village is a family
park surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains, lakes and forests.

Fresno Mobile Home & RV Park – Fresno
Located near Highway 99 between Olive and McKinley Avenues in the metropolitan area of Fresno. Fresno Mobile Home & RV Park features laundry facility, swimming pool, and wireless internet. This park has served generations of visitors for almost 50 years. 1362 N. Hughes, Fresno (559) 264-3122.
