Fishing
Non-resident fishing licenses are available as licenses are required for anyone 16 or older in order to fish. Contact the Department of Fish and Game, 1234 E. Shaw, Fresno, (559) 243-4005.

Sierra National Forest Fishing
Sierra National Forest provides numerous opportunities for stream and lake fishing. For information on fishing regulations make sure to check out the California Department of Fish and Game regulations.

Kings River Fishing
The Kings River is located on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, east of Fresno. This Wild Trout river, located from the confluence of the South and Middle Forks down to Pine Flat Reservoir, receives little angling pressure compared to other rivers in the state. The river has both rainbow and brown trout as well as spotted and smallmouth bass found in the reach just above the reservoir. San Joaquin Valley Southern Sierra (559) 243-4005 ext 183.

Hunting
A state hunting license is required for the taking of any bird or mammal, and it must be presented upon request. Hunting license fees and seasons for the year begin July 1. For license fees, contact the Department of Fish and Game, (559) 243-4005.
